  • Helen N. Da-Souza

    MD/CEO

    Helen N. Da-Souza obtained a B.Sc (Hon) degree in Accountancy in 1984 from prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka and has since obtained several Financial Services Industry certifications. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1988 and has approximately 24 years work experience across the Financial Services Industry, Government and Public Parastatal, Conglomerates, Construction, Manufacturing, Utilities etc.

    Helen served as a youth corper with Cadbury Nigeria Plc, Lagos and from there joined Akintola Williams Deloitte (simply known as Deloitte) in 1985 as a graduate trainee and progressed smoothly in her career in Deloitte up to the level of Associate Director with 13 years of audit experience and 11 years of tax experience including responsibility of overseeing the Tax Human Resource and staff welfare matters.

    She is a member of both The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).Helen is an Internationally recognized accredited Facilitator and has facilitated severally in trainings and presented papers on topical issues at various seminars, symposia and conferences in Nigeria, South Africa and Chicago, USA.

    Helen left Deloitte in February 2010 and brought her wealth of experience into Trustfund Pensions Plc.

  • Musa Adamu Nasr

    EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR - CORPORATE SERVICES

    Musa Adamu Nasr holds an LLB (Hons) Degree from the Bayero University, Kano and was called to Bar in 1988.He started his career with Messrs Bala Umar & Co. (Solicitors) in August 1988 as a junior Counsel and later joined the Attorney General's Chambers, Ministry of Justice, and Bauchi as a State Counsel II.In 1990, Mr. Musa moved to the defunct National Provident Fund which later metamorphosed into the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund where he rose to the rank of Senior Manager (Legal/Secretarial).

    Mr. Musa had a brief stint at Profund Properties Limited where he served as a Senior Legal Manager/Company Secretary before moving to Trustfund Pensions Plc as Company Secretary/Legal Adviser in December, 2005; He is currently the Executive Director Corporate Services of Trustfund Pensions Plc.He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association as well as the Chartered Institute of Mediators and Conciliators.

    Mr. Musa has attended several courses locally and internationally, and is an alumnus of the prestigious Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia USA.

  • Onyilokwu, Andrew Ochofie

    HEAD, FINANCE

    Onyilokwu, Andrew Ochofie is a Chartered Accountant with over 23 years industry experience, mainly in the banking industry. He graduated with a B.Sc in Accounting from the University of Jos in 1991. He commenced his working career with Hassan Nakpodia & Co (Chartered Accountants) in Lagos in 1992 from where he moved to FSB International Bank Plc. Andrew later worked with International Trust Bank Plc, Fidelity Bank Plc, Unity Bank Plc and served as Managing Director at Doorway Associates Limited. At various times, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Fidelity Bank Plc as well as Unity Bank Plc. He also served as Chief Inspector at International Trust Bank Plc and Unity Bank Plc. He has extensive experience in financial control, financial reporting, internal audit, corporate finance and banking operations.

    Andrew is also an alumnus of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife (MBA) and Lagos Business School (SMP). He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), an Honorary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (CIBN) as well as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).

     

  • Eno Adetayo-Olugbemi

    HEAD, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

    Eno Adetayo-Olugbemi obtained a B.Sc (Hon) degree in Computer Science in 1993 from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and has since obtained several ICT industry standard professional certifications. She is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and a Comptia Network and Security professional.

    Eno is highly experienced in the ICT industry with over 16 years professional experience in different fields spread across the Media, Hospitality, Financial services industry, Energy sector, Diplomatic corp, etc.Eno’s work experience includes Paks Micro International, G-Log Business Services, the United States Information Service (USIS), the United States Embassy, Abuja, Innate Arts and Media, Energy Landscape. She has also worked as an independent ICT consultant.With the establishment of the Pension Reforms Act, Eno joined the pension industry where she has worked as Head, ICT and Group Head Operations in IEI-Anchor Pensions and Apt Pension Fund Managers respectively.

    She has also worked with some State Governments to facilitate the State Pension Reform Act. Eno has a strong drive and passion for ensuring excellent service delivery to her customers and brings this to bear in her current position.

  • Samuel Onyedikachi Njoku

    HEAD INTERNAL CONTROL AND AUDIT

    Samuel Njoku, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) with over 20 years post qualification experience. He holds HND Upper Credit in Accounting from Federal Polytechnic Nekede Owerri in 1991and participated in the compulsory National Youth Service Scheme 1991/1992.

    Samuel has worked in several organizations over the past 20 years including: UBA, NTIAJUKA & CO. (Chartered Accountants), UNITED BANK FOR AFRICA PLC  - as a Team Leader Inspection Division from 1997 to 2000, CONTINENTAL TRUST BANK LIMITED - Internal Control/ Audit & Branch Management from 2000 to 2005, STANDARD TRUST BANK PLC/UBA PLC Branches management from 2005 to 2007, ECOBANK NIGERIA PLC –Branches management from 2007 to 2010, SAMUEL NJOKU & CO.( Chartered Accountants (Principal Partner from 2011 to July 2012) before joining Trustfund Pensions Plc in August, 2012.

    Samuel has also attended several trainings, seminars and workshop on Anti-money laundering and anti-corruption investigation, EDP Audit, International Financial Reporting Standards, Value-for-money Audit, ERM- Audit and Performance management including the “IASeminars Immersion workshop on IFRS” held in USA.

  • Rachael Osa Obi

    CHIEF COMPLIANCE OFFICER

    Rachael Osa Obi holds an LL.B in Law from the Bendel State University, Ekpoma, (1988). She is a member of the Nigerian Bar. also a Master in International Law and Diplomacy from the University of Lagos, and a Certificate of Professional Development (CPD) from Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania, having attended Executive Education Programme in “Leading and Managing People”, “Finance & Accounting for non-Financial Manager”, “Making Strategy Work: Leading Effective Execution” and “Thinking & Management for Competitive Advantage” She has attended several other local and international trainings in Corporate Governance, Executive Team Leadership and Regulatory Compliance.

    She is currently the Chief Compliance Officer.

  • Monica Ani

    COMPANY SECRETARY/LEGAL ADVISER

    Monica Ani graduated from the University of Calabar in 1985 with a B.A. Honours degree in Linguistics. She proceeded to train for her professional qualification as a Chartered Secretary with Marina Nominees Limited [Chartered Secretaries] and was admitted as a Graduate to the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators in 1991. She was admitted as an Associate in 1992. She obtained a First Class Honours degree in Law from the University of Buckingham in 2000 and was conferred with the Bachelor of Laws [BL] from the Nigerian Law School in 2003. She was called to the Nigerian Bar in the same year. In addition to her work experience at Marina Nominees Limited, Monica worked for a number of years as a Senior Associate with the law firm of Aluko & Oyebode before leaving to join Radix Capital Partners Limited [“Radix”] as the Company Secretary/Legal Adviser. While at Radix, Monica rendered financial advisory services to a number of quoted companies and State Governments. She has over 20 years work experience in  diverse areas including company secretarial practice, legal practice with emphasis on corporate commercial and labour law and investment banking.

    Monica joined Trustfund Pensions Plc as the Head of Secretariat in 2012. She is currently the Company Secretary/Legal Adviser of Trustfund Pensions Plc. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, International Bar Association and an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators.

  • Akinola Simeon Ayodeji

    Akinola, Simeon Ayodeji holds a B.Sc degree with second class upper division in Business Administration (with specialization in Finance and Banking) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from University of Ado – Ekiti, Ad-Ekiti, Nigeria.

    He is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers and a licensed Authorized Dealing Clerk of The Nigerian Stock Exchange. He is also an Associate member of the Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria and a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered).

    He is a goal oriented and self motivated professional with over 20 years of cognate experience in Banking and Financial Services Industry which spanned through Treasury Management, Banking Operations, Corporate and Investment banking, Capital Market, Risk Management, Strategic Planning, Performance Management and Corporate Consultancy.

    Akinola left MBL Financial Services Limited (a Member of The Nigerian stock Exchange) as its Chief Executive Officer to join Trustfund Pensions Limited as the Head, Risk Management Department in 2012.

    He has attended various management courses both locally and internationally.

    Tijani, Muritala Ibiyode holds a National Diploma from Federal Polytechnic Offa, B.Sc Degree in Accounting and has a Masters in Business Administration with specialization in Finance from Lagos State University; he is also a Graduate of the Chartered Institute of Administration (2001).

    Tijani has over 14 years working experience spanning across Financial and non Financial Institutions.

    He has worked in various organizations at different levels including Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund and Bhojsons Plc before joining Trustfund Pensions Plc in May 2008. Since joining Trustfund Pensions Plc., He has worked in the NSITF Department before his current stay in the Benefits Department.

    Tijani is a veteran in Benefit Administration with good exposure and sufficient experience in the management of Benefits. He has both numerate and analytical skills. He commands great passion for excellence and has high leadership qualities.

    Tijani has delivered term papers at several trainings, seminars, workshops and attended several trainings both locally and internationally.

    Mr. Rasheed Niyi Adegbenro has a Higher National Diploma in Banking & Finance - 1996.
    He is an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) 2001,
    An Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria – 2002 and a student member of the chartered Institute of Accountants of Nigeria.

    Mr. Rasheed Niyi Adegbenro started his career as a Clerical Officer at National Provident Fund 1984.

    In 1989, he was transferred to Inspectorate & Audit Department as Audit Supervisor and in 1992 he was redeployed to Payroll in Finance Department as Payroll Officer.

    In 1995, he was granted study leave with pay to undergo his Higher National Diploma in Banking & Finance where he passed out at Upper Credit Level.

    Later he was transferred to Lagos Zonal Office as Assistant Zonal Auditor in 2003, in the same year he was redeployed to Abuja Zonal Office as Zonal Auditor as a result of his hard work and trustworthiness.

    In 2006, he resigned from the services of Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund to join Trustfund Pensions Plc as a pioneer staff, in setting up Internal Control & Audit Department. He was a member of team that successfully revalidates the NSITF Scheme nation wide, audit various units in Trustfund. Later he was deployed to head Human Resources & Administration in April, 2007 while he report directly to Ag. Managing Director CEO. In April, 2009, he became the Fund Accountant (Legacy Funds).

    Based on his wide exposure and experience, he was redeployed to Contributions Department where he is till date.

    Mr. Rasheed Niyi Adegbenro attended many courses on various disciplines among them are:

  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

    Emuesiri Ebruphihor Oshodi who was engaged at Trustfund in Dec 2005 as Lead Private Sector; is a 1992 graduate of English & Literature from the University of Benin, Benin City in Edo State. She also possesses a 1999 Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the same university.  An Alumnus of the Lagos Business School, she has attended management courses and trainings in Customer Service Excellence, Leadership, Marketing and Business Networking both locally and internationally.

    She began her Banking career in 1992 as Corper in Inland Bank Plc and continued in 1995  as a Management Trainee (MT)  with New Nigeria Bank Plc and  has extensive background in financial management services with over eighteen years cognate experience; spanning operations and business development in various banks (including Devcom Bank and Gateway Bank Plc) ICT and is a Pioneer in the Contributory Pension Scheme in Nigeria.

    Emuesiri has proven ability to negotiate and influence high level businesses and close deals using the tool of excellent spoken and written communication skills, expertise in planning, organizing, analyzing and reporting.
    She is a rapid change manager, Coach and Mentor; member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management.

    As Head, Customer Service and Relationship Management, she brings on board a wealth of the old and trusted business etiquette where your word is your bond.

    Onyilokwu, Andrew Ochofie is a Chartered Accountant with over 23 years industry experience, mainly in the banking industry.     OLUYEMISI ADEDAYO OJO graduated with a Second Class Upper Division in Geology from Ogun State University (now Bisi Onabanjo University), Ago Iwoye in 1998 and obtained a Masters degree in Business Administration with specialization in Management Technology from Lagos State University in 2004.

    She is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria, a Member of the Society for Human Resource Management with headquarters in Virginia, United States of America. Oluyemisi is also an associate of the following professional bodies: Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria and the Nigeria Institute of Management (Chartered). She is a Fellow of the Institute of Brand Management.   Oluyemisi began her career in June 2000 and has worked in the following industries namely Communication, Banking and Pension. She joined the league of pioneer staff of Trustfund Pensions Plc in January 2006 where she is till date and has held key positions over the years.

    Her experiences spans Manpower Planning, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Strategic Human Resource, Quality Assurance, Process Control with Procedural Planning, Brand Management and General Administration. Oluyemisi has been exposed to Customer Care Functions, Relationship Management, Business Development & Marketing and Strategy & Product Development.

    She has attended several professional trainings, seminars and workshops. She is a training facilitator and has handled several seminars and training programmes across the country in Human Resources and Brand Management.

    Uwah, Essin Okon graduated with a B.Sc degree in Accounting from the University of Lagos in 1992 and obtained a Masters Degree (MBA) in Banking & Finance from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

    He is an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) and Institute Of Certified Public Accountants of Nigeria (ICPAN) - ICPAN is currently undergoing legislation.

    He is dedicated and has a strong drive and commitment with over 20 years working experience in the Financial Services Industry which spanned through Compliance, Internal Control & Audit, Business Development & Marketing as well as Benefit Administration.

    Merit Awards received by him include Best Staff in Inspectorate Department and Directorate Division (G1) of Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) in 2003.

    Uwah joined Trustfund Pensions Plc from Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund in 2006 and was deployed to Internal Control & Audit Department. He has worked at various times as Head, Benefit Department and Business Manager of Akwa Ibom and Nasarawa State offices.

    Anthony Nnegha holds a B.Sc. Computer Science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and holds several ICT Industry certifications. He has a wealth of experience spanning both public and private sectors in need analysis consulting; Database Design, Implementation & Management; project management and implementation; Software design, testing and validation; network design, implementation and management.

    Anthony’s work experience includes Lemingsway Stores Limited, Abuja Securities & Commodities Exchange Plc (ASCE), Decision Technologies International Inc, Coral Microsystems Limited, IEI-Anchor Pension Managers Limited where he held very key positions before joining Trustfund Pensions Plc as head ICT in 2011.

    He has attended trainings, Seminars and Workshops in financial services organized both locally and internationally.

    Samuel Njoku, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) with over 20 years post qualification experience.     Joseph Ali obtained a B.Sc (Hon) degree in Accountancy in 1994 from Bayero University Kano as well as a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the same institution in 2000. He also qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2001 and has several years of work experience that cuts across notable sectors of the Nigerian Economy.

    Prior to joining Trustfund Pensions Plc in 2011,  Joseph commenced his working career with Raleigh Industries Plc in 1996 from where he moved to Dansa Food Processing Company in 1997. He later joined Messrs Akintola Williams Deloitte in 2000 before crossing over to the banking sector in 2003 that saw him working between Zenith Bank Plc and BankPHB Plc until 2010.  He later returned briefly to Audit Assurance Practice in 2010 with Messrs Tajudeen Badejo & Co. 

    Since joining Trustfund Pensions Plc., He has worked in the NSITF and Risk Management Departments before his current stay in the Investment Department. 

    He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and has attended executive trainings both local and international.
